About the 'Storey Building'
The Storey Building, so named because it is planned to sit two stories high, was undertaken in 2005 by Mr. Forson to house upper level classes and a growing school population. Building stalled several times but is now moving forward full steam with the help of Pagus:Africa and more support from the school's PTA and children. In addition to more classrooms, the building also houses our computer lab stocked with computers sent on our container last summer .
Classes are currently being held in three of the classrooms even though the building is not complete, and the children living on campus are also taking shelter in one of the unfinished classrooms until their new boarding facility is complete.
Parents contribute their labor in carpentry and masonry so funding only needs to cover materials and some professional tradesmen.(see pictures above).
